THE 1% SUCKS
BUT CAPITALISM IS ONLY A ROOT PROBLEM
CAPITALISM BRANCHES OUT INTO PATRIARCHY, HETEROSEXUALITY, TRANSPHOBIA, ABLEISM, HOMOPHOBIA, IMPERIALISM, COLONIZATION AND YES…..RACISM
CAPITALISM IS RACIST
the profit ever made was free labor from people enslaved, those taken away from what is called afrika, those native people ensaled to work for the settler in their own land. the sites of production where built on native land.you do not need to pay rent here!
THE SYSTEM IS RACIST
It was build for the priviledge few.
It was an european invention.
It is hard to see our own priviledge because
when i first heard about the wall street occupations i thought about white anarchists. cause if our peoples are to ever use the language “occupy” on a facebook event or get closer to financial institutions with signs and megaphones::: we`ll get kicked, spit on and YES some of us might get KILLED. you know like that black guy that got put to sleep because apparently a black life does not mean shit or maybe all the black and brown youth that gets constantly harassed on the street just because they are brown and black and by extension CRIMINALS or maybe they’d had called the entire army of ICE to check everybody’s paper OR maybe get the CIA/FBI arrest everybody with hijabs and turbans and take them until they are for sure for sure sure they are not terrorists.
yes i do think movements like this are important. but we also gotta think about who is leading this movements and how does their privilege allow for this movements to happen. cause the peoples-real peoples- know whats up cause they feel it on the streets on their schools on the airport everywhere. it is great that white folx are finally feeling the oppression, but we gotta remind them that we are not all equally oppressed.
thanks to all the peoples stepping up against racism.homophobia.sexism.classism-and capitalism- EVERYWHERE any time. those coloring and queering the revolution.feministiando la revolucion con pasion corazon y fuerza .

Brown Power at Occupy Wall Street! 9/29/11
Hena Ashraf September 30, 2011
Once again, it is Thursday night, and once again, I am writing this because I think it needs to be documented and shared. And once again, this is about mass actions taking place in NYC. Once again, please feel free to share this.
The following is from my perspective:
Tonight was my 4th time down at Occupy Wall Street. I felt drawn to the protests, like I needed to be there, and I guess I was meant to be, as well as the people I ended up with.
